Jesse started for the West Seneca West High School varsity team for 5 years seeing time as their pitcher and catcher. In 1994 and 1995 she was named to the All-Western New York and All-State Teams. In 1995 she was also given the prestigious Player of the Year Award as both pitcher and catcher. In her summers she had played for the Diamond Girls which was the first Buffalo team to make it to the 18-under nationals. Jesse also played for the Women's Major fastpitch team the Tonawanda Shamrocks where she had the opportunity to face such opponents as Lisa Fernandez, Dot Richardson, and many other Olympic players. She went on to play at Canisius College where she was the starting catcher for three years. Jesse also saw action on the mound and six other positions at Canisius during her tenure. In 1998, she led the MAAC in homeruns and tied the school record. In 1999 she was nominated for Mid Atlantic All-American, and made First Team All Region. Rosenhahn has also been playing on the Empire State Team since the age of 15, winning 4 golds, 5 silvers, and 1 bronze. In 2000, Jesse played on the Faso Insurance team which won the Women's Class C National Championship where she was named 1st Team All-American. Recently, Jesse had been the Head Softball Coach at Hilbert College for 3 yrs., and the volunteer pitching coach at Canisius College before deciding to come on board full-time at the Baseball Academy.
